23rd percentile, and my exam is in 3 weeks, after months of practice.
What should I do? I have wanted to study medicine since I was like a 10 years old and I am supposed to sit the UCAT in under a month. I have been using the medify platform to practice for over 6 months now and still see no major improvement and I am basically the furthest away from a competitive score than you can imagine. I constantly average like 20-40th percentile, 40 if I am lucky, for each subset, and around 20th percentile for overall. I am seriously an outlier.
I know my ATAR should take precedence over UCAT but my parents even payed quite a lot for UCAT tutoring. At times I feel I am not trying hard enough but at others, I feel it is impossible, no matter how much I work. I have tried everything - talking to my tutor, whose advice is honestly not that great it is quite generic, I have tried watching countless videos such as Emile Eddy’s and although the strategy is great I just can’t seem to improve my scores. They say review mocks carefully and I do, but how do I even implement most of it into my further practice?
My exam is in 3 weeks and I just got 23rd on a mini mock for DM, which is USUALLY my best like 54th percentile (I know that’s shitty but it feels big for me.) anyone experience a magical moment after months of practice and care to share? Any advice? I honestly feel hopeless to the point GAMSAT looks easier. I hate UCAT.
