1: King Arthur, Arthurian saga,

Come on, you know this guy

The legendary king arthur who pulled the sword from the stone (caliburn), ruled England, protected it from Saxon invaders, and killed his bastard son Mordred to stop him from destroying England,

While yes, King Arthur has done many great things, he was also a bit of a paranoid and a bit cold hearted to those he close to him since he's too busy protecting England,

one such instance was May Day Massacre was when he ordered the death of many babies because he was scared of Mordred haunting England if he ruled it after him,

some sources say Arthur simply banished the babies via a boat, but he was still responsible for them,

So it's really hard to think whether he was right or wrong,

one hand, Mordred was literally the biggest asshole and POS in the entire Arthurian saga,

rape, killing, murder, massacre, betrayal, murder, forcing a marriage between him and his stepmother Guinevere, etc

Mordred done it all, he didn't do it because Arthur threatened him, Mordred was simply born evil, Arthur was right to be scared,

on the other hand, a lot of innocent babies were killed due to Arthur's fear,

There's many versions of Arthurian legend, in the original, this incident wasn't in it, but still

2: Achilles, Greek, The Iliad

im not gonna elaborate further,

great figure, legendary fighter, a pivotal soldier in the trojan war,

but his act of tarnishing Hector's body was one of the worst humiliating thing ever, dragging his corpse everywhere,

Hector was a chivalrous and righteous person, to see him be done like that,

and on another, he also sacrificed a lot of youth soldiers, killing them, and burning them

Legendary figure known for their (ahem) heroic deeds, a literal piece of shit
