SO, this is a continuation of my [previous post](https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1tj9au1/hi_working_on_a_new_skin_concept_art_and_id_love/), where I asked you, DbD community, about the further development of this concept, I wanted to see your opinion and which of the options you liked the most.

After counting mentions and positive reviews, we came up with the following candidates:
1st place "INSOMNIA" (10)
2nd place "HYPERDONTIA" (9)
3rd place "ABYSMAL CHARM" and "REJECT" (6)
It's funny that all the candidates are from the "specially modified" section!
If we count how much love there was for the base and its variations (mouth/eyes), we get:
1st ABYSMAL CHARM (20)
2nd CEREBRAL GRIN (18)
3rd HAIRLESS HARELIP (14)

**Now that we've talked about the heads, let's get back to the new bodies!**

I have developed a body suitable for each finalist-head. Here we have "REJECTED SPLICING", "INSOMNIUS CONSPIRACY", and "НYPERDONTIC SKINMORPH", let's talk about the idea behind each of them.

**"REJECTED SPLICING"**
This is the most directly executed work with a focus on alien theme. A giant head, slender limbs, and a human-like anatomy - but full of repulsive, sinister features! But that's not even the best part. The entire body is inspired by the **Roswell** **incident** and the urban legend of the alien autopsy. His leg, which is broken like after a ship crash, is a great reason why one of the legs of the Unknown in the game is twisted in the other direction. I took inspiration for this body from various aliens with similar anatomies to humans - Abominations from Fallout 3, Offspring from Alien: Romulus, and Newborn from Alien 4, and Entity A from Routine.

"**INSOMNIUS CONSPIRACY**"
Not every alien with a big head and gray skin! Some of them are walking among us right now, blinking their second pair of eyelids and manipulating the world. **The reptilians!** From a distance, it seems like an ordinary man in a suit, but only up close, when it's too late, you'll see that it's his shiny scaly skin that takes on the appearance of a harmless inhabitant of this planet - you! The idea of an alien skin about lizard-people is directly inspired by such creatures like Thin-man from Xcom, and also a little vibe of Men in Black. One of the popular theories in the community, that the clothes of the Unknown are his 2nd layer skin, takes a different turn here.

**"НYPERDONTIC SKINMORPH"**
Of all the alien variants, this one is the wildest and most grotesque. The intentions are clear - it is trying to hide, but it does it so carelessly that it causes horror and disgust. The idea of the Unknown, like a bunch of tentacles hiding in human skin - elevated to the absolute. When making this design, I was inspired by disturbing-looking aliens such as ET with his wrinkled body, Slitheen from Doctor Who, and Edgar from Men in Black.

Just like last time, I made variations by changing heads between the bodies, but in my opinion they came out completely unsuitable for each other, therefore they are not included in the post. I'll send it in the comments, though. I will be glad to see feedback and thoughts on the upcoming skin, but for now I will answer on a possible questions.

***>"WHY THE HELL ARE THEY ALL NAKED?"***
~~i wanna shitless Unknown~~ Thematic reasons. If you look on the Internet, how people imagined aliens, for some reason we all came to the conclusion that the classic Gray and other species abandon the idea of clothes.
***>"Is the skin going to be connected?"***
I hope not. I came up with a design in which the neck is too unique for each of the skins and connects perfectly with the head, but in the case of the Unknown from the game, his head comes complete with his wrinkled neck and a little "circle" of folds that overlaps the body from above. I will be working on the finalist with a focus on making the head detachable and combine it with other skins.
***>"It doesn't look like the Unknown"***
I hope so. My original idea was add to the diversity. The Unknown, with its skins, really has a wide range to choose from: classic with folds, smooth skin of a woman, the wrinkled skin of granny, muscular body of a guard, FURR from a wolf! With the Unknown, you can play with an alternative anatomy, and thats great, need more of that.
***>"What do they look like from the back?"***
Gotta be honest, mirroring and painting it from behind is a pain in the ass. I will make this option fully colored and ready for the finalist.
***>"What kind of weapon does alien-Unknown have?"***
Well, we'll see that soon.
***>"Will it be at the next Design Contest?"***
Yeah, I want to participate for the first time. But I do not even know when it starts.
