[M4F] Star Wars – Slave Leia & Jabba | AU / Canon-Inspired RP

Hello!

I'm looking for a writing partner interested in exploring the lavish, dangerous, and undeniably captivating atmosphere of Jabba's Palace during the events of Return of the Jedi. I'd be writing Jabba the Hutt and the wider supporting cast, while I'm looking for someone to take on the role of Princess Leia during her captivity within Jabba's court.

The story would begin shortly after Leia's failed attempt to rescue Han Solo. Disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, she infiltrated the palace successfully, only to find herself exposed and trapped within Jabba's decadent domain. Stripped of her disguise and forced into the now-iconic attire associated with her captivity, Leia becomes a highly visible symbol of Jabba's power and influence. The chain that binds her to the crime lord serves as a constant reminder of her circumstances, even as she quietly searches for opportunities to resist, survive, and ultimately reclaim her freedom.

Surrounded by criminals, mercenaries, bounty hunters, exotic entertainers, and powerful underworld figures, Leia suddenly finds herself at the center of a world far removed from the Rebel Alliance—a place where appearances, influence, and intimidation carry as much weight as blasters.

What draws me to this setting is the contrast between Leia's determination and the palace's seductive excess.

Glittering treasures, lavish feasts, strange alien customs, whispered schemes, and ever-present threats create an environment that feels both fascinating and perilous. Every audience with Jabba becomes a test of wills, every gathering an opportunity for intrigue, and every misstep potentially disastrous.

Someone comfortable exploring the criminal underworld side of Star Wars. Casual or hardcore fans welcome.

I'm especially interested in capturing the atmosphere of the palace itself: torchlit halls, exotic music echoing through cavernous chambers, crowded audiences filled with bounty hunters and smugglers, whispered conversations behind ornate curtains, and the constant sense that everyone is pursuing their own agenda. Leia's highly public position within Jabba's court places her at the center of much of this intrigue, making her both observer and participant in the palace's many schemes.
