Mean/inappropriate commenter

So I posted a new work weeks ago and I finally got a comment. “Please fix the formatting“. I was surprised at first and worried that I messed something up, but after asking that person to explain it further, they said that I should adjust my writing style to theirs and they commented that in a rather mean way. This person is an author themselves and has posted lots of works, so I felt a little intimidated. But this is just straight up inappropriate. LIke what is this sort of comment in the first place? I started reading other fics of the fandom and I saw that this commenter kept leaving such comments there as well. They kept complaining about the ship and that they are not happy with it, that there is only one right ship etc. I think we all know that if you don‘t like the ship then you just don‘t read it in the first place.

It just makes me angry, such comments demotivate authors a lot and are not nice at all. I wish I could do something about it, but I can‘t. I deleted the comment under my work and just try to forget it. It was the only comment I had so far, so deleting it was kind of hard, sounds stupid I know.
