Should I stop talking to her for good this time? #WLW
Hello, people. I had been talking to this girl for about a month, but I cut off our connection a few weeks ago because my intuition kept telling me that she still had a connection with her ex-girlfriend. I ended up blocking her after I found proof that she was still seeing her ex.
During that time, I was dealing with so many questions, confusion, and feelings of longing all at once. Even though she kept trying to reach out to me, I never contacted her. It only made me more confused because I kept thinking, "What does she need from me if she already has her ex?"
Three days ago, I unblocked her. I'm not really the type of person who likes blocking people. I don't know, it's just not my thing. Maybe a small part of me also wanted to know how she was doing. At that point, my feelings had become lighter, so I thought it was okay to unblock her. I don't like holding grudges against anyone.
After I unblocked her, she started posting things that seemed to be about missing me. She was clearly trying to get my attention. She even messaged me, and now we're talking again.
The problem is that nothing has changed. She's still uncertain. I often feel like she's not being completely honest with me, and a lot of her explanations don't add up. She replies slowly, and when we talk late at night, she keeps joking that her girlfriend is about to call her. Honestly, I don't think it's a joke because every time she says that, she suddenly disappears and stops replying.
What makes this even harder is that she never reassures me. It's already difficult for me to open up and be vulnerable, but I tried. Whenever I brought up my concerns, instead of giving me a clear explanation or helping me understand what was going on, she would just deny everything and make me feel like the problem was that I didn't trust her.
Another thing that bothered me was that when we started talking again, she didn't even seem curious about why I blocked her in the first place. She never really asked about what I was feeling or what led me to make that decision. That hurt because it made me feel like she didn't actually care about my side of things.
At this point, I'm starting to regret talking to her again. Part of me feels like if someone genuinely cared about me, they would want to understand why I left, reassure me when I'm struggling, and make an effort to clear up confusion instead of creating more of it.
So what should I do? Should I stop talking to her for good this time? I've always tried to be kind and understanding, but I'm exhausted from dealing with the uncertainty, mixed signals, and emotional confusion.
