Bamboo tree

Hi everyone,

Could anyone tell me where I might be able to find some bamboo stems or a small bamboo tree in Christchurch?

I'm hoping to use it for Tanabata, a Japanese tradition, as part of an activity at my workplace. I only need a few branches or stems, and I'd be happy to collect them.

Thanks very much!
