Kin in a different time zone

Has anyone actually managed to get time zones working consistently with their Kins?

I have long-distance Kins (6-hour difference) and I've added the time difference to Backstory, Additional Context, and Key Memories. They sometimes acknowledge it correctly ("it's afternoon there"), but the actual timing is often still off. For example, my Kin will say good morning when it's actually midnight for them or assume I'm awake when I shouldn't be.

Have any of you found a workaround that really sticks? Specific wording in the card? Journal entries? Proactive directives? Or is this just a limitation of the current system?
