Does this sound like a fracture in the root of the tooth?

question

43F, 140lbs, non smoker, relatively healthy diet.

Symptoms:

- roof of mouth around tooth (upper right 5) is numb/tingly

- intense throbbing during evening/night

- extreme sensitivity to hot and cold, like the temperature goes up into skull behind eye

-blocked nose/sinuses on side above tooth

The tooth in question had a root canal done 2 years ago, I've had issues with it since before that, and the molar next to it was extracted in 2022 - which was pointless in hindsight because it made no difference to the pain. I had an ENT look into my sinuses with a camera and suspected it's trigeminal neuralgia, but my symptoms really don't resemble that. Over the past week it's suddenly become unbearable and I can't sleep, eat or brush properly. Does this sound like a fracture to the root of the tooth?

Another weird thing is since having molar 6 extracted, the surrounding teeth all have this brown coating on them, which even the dental hygienist was unable to get off. I also have a bitter taste that side constantly.
