The battle between casual friends and just no contact
To be honest, this hurts. “if we can’t be casual friends then lmk cause I won’t be more for you” you say “I do love you” but want to be in the friend zone while we rebuild trust l, which is fair.
You say to just “go with the flow” like before. Before I met you I didn’t even know you, I had no intention on loving you, let alone date you. It’ll never be like before, it’s not that easy. It is for you cause you were already emotionally detached and I don’t blame you.
Truth is, I know I told you I needed time to get rid of these feelings before I can be casual friends, but the fact that you already brought up other guys and felt the need to tell me “Men approach me I can’t control that” just feels like you’ll throw that in my face like a “I can get any guy I want”
I will never understand why you felt the need to tell me about another guy days after YOU broke up with me. Maybe it was to test how I’d react so you throw in my face that I’m highly insecure and not ready for a relationship.
I want to go no contact. I still love you and I know being friends will hurt me cause you’ll keep bringing up guys and potential sugar daddies.
A part of me feels like this is what you wanted. You got tired of having to say no to men who approach you with offers because you had a boyfriend, now that you’re single, you can say yes and entertain offers now. You needed a reason and found one.
