Confused on filing DS160 for H1B Stamping

I am planning to visit India in Nov / Dec 2026, I have my H1B stamping till Sept 2026, so I will have to look for new slots later this year. But also my Passport is expiring May 2027.

What is the best step here for me? Should I renew my passport here in USA in tatkal service, get the new passport, so I can fill out my DS160 with the new expiry and other passport details, or should I fill DS160 with the current passport data and apply the new passport while in the USA. Or go to india and get stamping on the current passport (will i get h1b stamping only till May 2027 in this case?), or apply new passport simultaneously in India?

Need Help and guidance here please, so I can start my DS160 quickly and start looking for slots, as I am blocked on this and not able to search for slot hunting.
