Is my boyfriend not my boyfriend?

met this guy online dating. From the jump he said he had a female flat mate. He did not tell me how they met till I asked. After undergrad, he said he lived a few different places. One was in Australia. He said they met there. Idk how they got to living in the U.S. where we are now. I know they hang out together a lot and he talks a lot about her. But he also got a bit serious when I asked how they know each other.

Anyway he gets a bit spotty about things I will say. Or sometimes I feel like he’s forgetful. Acts like he has to squeeze me into his schedule because he is doing a lot. He will misremember things I’ve told him. Only get parts of things I’ve said correct. Like say he’ll think we went somewhere. We didn’t go. he says oh it’s because we were going to? Like we’d talk about a few places but chose a different one.

I’m so tired of trying to figure this out. But he didn’t introduce me to anyone in his life. We’ve only been “official” since I asked where we stand maybe 2 weeks back. And I feel if I’m so confused or insecure it’s not a good sign. He hardly even says he likes me. He just talks to me like I’m his friend, and then kisses me. He’s also constantly talking about money. I’m in school and work part time and he’s working full time. So I’m fine doing stuff that’s cheaper. Yet he recently wants to go places and then asks me to pay or split. I don’t mind either but I’m like. I’ve told him and he seems to forget what’s going on.

Tl:dr;

My relationship feels like I’ve constantly had to be the one to push it forward. He said he wants a LTR yet didn’t bring up a single topic that would make me think he’s serious. I feel like once you’re in a relationship you want to spend more time. Call each other. We don’t have that. Granted we only met like 11 times total. This whole thing is new. But I feel so confused
