why do older addicts find it so crazy with younger addicts doing harder drugs??

Im YOUNG and just went to my first NA meeting, Ive done alot of drugs but the harder ones ive done are heroin, Crack, Methadone, Suboxone, Ketamine and K2. And when i told the older addicts in there all this almost every one of them found it crazy.

It cant be that people didnt do those kinds drugs back in their days right? i mean my dad is 50 and had tried heroin before he turned 18.

Most of my friends my age that do drugs are also doing much harder ones. I have friends that are 18-19 that are ordering rc opis and rc benzos and addicted to it. I wouldnt say that its normal with that kinda drug use here but i still have ALOT of friends on heroin, Speed, Ketamine, K2 and what not and it seems like older addicts think that the plugs wont sell us things like that. Big suprise your wrong guys, We even get it on the lowlow compared to what the older addicts are getting it for haha.

Anyone have an idea why the gramps find it so crazy? I think they were doing the same drugs when they were our age honestly.
