"i thought you never say it! come here, my love"

"me too, lets go"

"i figured, but im unsure. before the friendship dies for nothing, id rather try.. lets date"

"i gotta think about that, byeee"

"oh no.. sorry, i dont.. you think we can stay friends?"

"you sure? what do you like about me?" ... "see, you dont like me, buddy"

"not again! why does this keep happening to me? why do you have to ruin what we have?!"

"well, i dont. lets pretend this never happened and stay friends"

"im not looking for a boyfriend and keep things casual. while we're at it... i gotta tell you something"

"dont you know..? hasn't he told you..? listen..."

"dude, im into ian lol - weve been hooking up for months, but this mofo keeps a distance"

after seeing the movie only once, i genuinely dont know what her response would be. sure they arent equally likely and upon second viewing maybe her signs of being into ian for more than just fun look much stronger to me, but the way Inde portrayed that scene, I dont rule out completely that she might have given bear and her a chance.

the strongest sign i can think of that nikki would reject bear is "take your girl home safe" - "eew, dont say it like that" — but then again this could be a tactic for her to hide her true feelings. "if I have a crush on a guy, no one knows"
