(Take a shot every time I say exclusive.)

Before I begin, I would like to state my case (of which I am certain). Yes, I will be preordering GTA 6 today. No, I am not happy physical won’t come with a disc. No, this is in no way a post defending Rockstar. And personally, I think Tale Two has more to do with this, but some of you are not ready for that argument. So we good? Good? Good. Let’s begin.

———————————————

I can see why people are upset about the obvious extra stuff is locked behind the Ultimate Edition, but that’s the entire reason they are. They’re exclusives. Extra. Stuff. That’s it.

There are people out there that actually think that the base game won’t have mod shops, or clothing stores, or hair salons, and so on. They are obviously going to be in the base game, just not the ones advertised in the Ultimate Edition. Very, VERY good chance that the shops that are in Ultimate will have the same stuff you can buy in the base game shops, it’s just these ones will have exclusive items with them.

Same goes for that gang compound. There are probably OTHER compounds in the base game you’re going to be able to rob and steal from. The one advertised in Ultimate is extra. Wyman’s Classic Car Collection as well. Probably going to be an import/export missions with cars in the base game, probably also given by Wyman. The Classic Car Collection is probably an extra list he gives you.

The exclusive cars and weapons with their skins that come with the Ultimate Edition are not even worth arguing about. These were going to be an obvious no-brainer. Personally with the weapons, there’s nothing on the website that these said weapons are going to be exclusive. All it talks about are the variants. So probably a good chance those revolvers and pistols can be found in the base game, you just won’t have access to those variants.

I think I made my point, but I do got one more thing to say. Let’s not beat around the bush. We KNEW something like Ultimate Edition, or a few Special Editions, were going to happen. We didn’t need evidence to know it would. Some of us were even dead set on it possibly being $120. But as SOON as Rockstar announced it, and only talked about Ultimate, that’s when we decided to panic. Not before, after. Even though we fully know that Exclusive Editions would have Exclusive items, we still went crazy.

Kinda weird and stupid, don’t you think?

This needs to be said about Ultimate Edition…
