A Mosfet fell off?

while cleaning and putting new thermal paste, I noticed a sound, and I thought a screw fell or maybe some plastic.

turned out to be a thing that says SM4364A WV116

Laptop is functioning, is an A. Nitro 5 (if it helps)

to my understanding it should be all right meanwhile there is not a spike of energy on my home, and since I use a trusty voltage regulator it should be fine.

am I wrong on this?

also there is this fear, that may be irrational but, since the laptop heats when opening a game I fear the lack of this thing will do last drop and ruin the machine.

so what you think, it would ruin it or keep it the same?
