Will GTA VI stand out with something new or improve and reuse existing features?

First of all, I want to clarify that I **do NOT** mean things like: graphics, world details, map expansion, NPCs, cops and so on. Pretty much anything that has to do with the open world immersion and its improvement. I believe those are somewhat expected being a new entry in the franchise and RDR2 setting a new standard.

What I mean is that every GTA from the franchise brought *something new* like:

\- Vice City introduced helicopters, motorcycles

\- San Andreas brought us swimming, many activities like basketball and gym, better customization with hairstyles, tattoos and even introduced a changing body fat

\- IV got us to the HD era with new physics, graphics and more behind the scenes stuff, but obviously at the time they had to cut away some systems which is understandable

\- V was also quite a stepping stone. We got animals, better underwater experience, we got activities back, customization, usable smartphone and the biggest of them all: three protagonists and heists! And the ability to switch between them and each having a unique speciality as well

So I am really curious, will they add something to surprise us or will they just reuse (or bring back things, like gym and body changes)? Obviously we still get activities, underwater exploration, heavy customization and the standard "GTA recipe".

The main thing is that, with this entry, we got, once again, more protagonists. But wouldn't reusing stuff like the character switch, heists, etc., and only focusing on open world enhancements make it "play like V"?

The Rockstar website states a "single player experience" and while this obviously means that the online version won't come out on November 19th (which was pretty obvious), does that also mean co-op is out of the question? If they went with a co-op system (optional of course, no one wanted it to be mandatory) then it should have happened at launch, right?

I always thought the optional co-op feature to share the story with someone might be a quite new thing they can add to "surprise" us.

What do you guys think about this?
