Since I haven't seen others sharing CC clears with Catcher in a pure phys team, I had to do it myself to prove my guy can do it too. Even though phys struggles with the current risk options. Catcher parry ftw.

So how did this work with so many risk options that seem very detrimental to phys teams? I'll explain a few counters to circumvent these risk options. Mostly issues specific to phys teams since explanations for many other problems are already explained by other people. In this run, the only risk options I did not have active were the reduced timer, increased enemy health, and no dodge.

Rush - Enemies can't lose more than 25% hp within 0.1s, so I tend to inflict crush with only 1 or 2 vulnerability stacks on small and medium enemies as that is typically enough to do 25% unless you add risk options to increase enemy hp. And even then, 2 or 3 may still be enough for medium-sized enemies.

Regeneration II - Enemies regenerate hp for every second they got crowd control effects. Aside from Endmin's originium crystals, lifted and knockdown from Chen and Catcher also count as crowd control effects which you may trigger while trying to apply vulnerability stacks to enemies. This is most bothersome against the medium-sized enemies since large enemies won't be affected.

Endmin's battle skill inflicts crush which immediately ends lifted and knockdown status, so use this to minimize the amount of time enemies have to heal if it is neccessary to inflict these crowd control effects. Breach from Wulfgard's battle skill works too. Also, Catcher's battle skill doesn't trigger crowd control effects, so this is great for stacking vulnerabilty on medium sized enemies.

Effect Barrier and Restraint II - Restraint II reduces an operator's damage for 10 seconds after they inflict vulnerability, so Chen won't do good damage for a while if you trigger this. But you can work around this by inflicting vulnerability with another operator(Catcher in my case) which makes Effect Barrier prevent Chen from inflicting vulnerability for 5 seconds so that her damage will not be reduced. This is effective for large enemies that will not get stunlocked by lifted status so it doesn't count as crowd control. You'll be able to dish out a fair amount of damage from Chen's battle skill and combo skill without being nerfed for a short time. This can be used for small and medium enemies too, but crowd control from lifted will take effect, so try to have crush or breach available to end it immediately.

Synced Growth - Enemies heal if you gain enough hp or shield, so just be careful with Catcher's or Ember's combo skills.

I used Swordmancer gear set for both Chen and Catcher here. I wanted to maximize stagger efficiency since damage output is limited by rush anyway. I would've put Swordmancer set on Endmin too if I had another one available. I may try that later if I go for a higher risk level.

Anyway, that's all I can think of for phys-specific CC tips for now. If anyone else got tips I missed, feel free to share in the comments to spread phys team awareness to the masses. My boy Catcher is seriously underrated and needs more love.
