On Why the Two Party Political System is a failure and what can we do about it

The percentage of U.S. voters who are registered as unaffiliated with a party (Independent) is increasing and is significantly higher than either the Democratic or Republican. In the 2020 census, I believe there were at least 40 percent Independent. The fact that the corporate news media do not allow this topic to be brought up for discussion let alone a debate tells us that we need to have a truly public and independent national news source that could help to re-educate the general public and create the basis for establishing a unified general public which we can then establish an online, public, democratic platform specifically for allowing ordinary citizens a genuine opportunity to participate in the political process in a very meaningful and substantial way.
