Stay recommendation

I’ve decided to go to EDC Thailand and it's my first time going to big EDM fest🫶Flight and ticket have been sorted out, so only left with staying and commuting.

I will be traveling solo so my budget is not too high to stay near the event and my flight back on Monday is quite early. Was thinking of staying near the airport area but I would like to know what the experience was like for people who took the shuttle at the airport. Cause I’ve been reading about some past experiences with the shuttle and it's a mixed review. Or should I take the Grab instead of the shuttle and I can stay in another place?🥹
