Hii everyone, as you can see, it was a terrifying day today, an earthquake hit the north part of my country and just now we have power at home, there was no phone service or power for a while.

I was not at home when the earthquake hit, I was actually on a mall, I went to watch Toy Story 5 with my parents and my boyfriend for my mom's birthday, we finished the movie and I told my parents that my boyfriend and I wanted to go to the first floor for a minute to buy some accessories at Miniso, and we would come back to the 3rd floor to eat something with them later.

Hopefully Miniso was on the first floor, as soon as we got out the store, we heard really loud noises behind us, to me some sounded like gunshots, and people started running like crazy, I suppose that was the sound of small debris falling from the ceiling, it's a very tall building with some areas where you can see the ceiling from the 1st floor. I didn't even look back. The mall's exit was just right there so we started running too, and when we got outside there was debris falling from the top of the mall. My parents were still inside and felt the shaking terribly, but they managed to get out. The mall did not collapse and most people got out safely, but it had cracks outside.

We took a while to get home and everything was fallen from the shelves, some broken glass and ceramics here and there, and old TV fell and broke, my cats were terrified under the sofa, the kitchen was flooded with water (luckily we have floor drains and dealt with it very quickly), and as you can see, my shelf moved away from the wall and all my dolls fell to the floor. No major damage at least, and we are all safe, but wow, that was insanely scary, I've never lived through something like this, and seeing everything on floor puts into perspective how hard it was shaking.
