Why does the YouTube app blackout a video if you take a screenshot?

I have been using the YouTube app thanks to the annoying “sign in to prove you’re not a bot” thing on browser and I am just wondering why does it black out what I screenshot on the app??

Is it for privacy? I tested this with a movie and a music video. Same results.
