Kyle disrespecting his marriage

I know that Amanda is not flawless but Kyle just casually saying that he disrespected his marriage in EP3 and in the same breath complaining about how Amanda left all her stuff lying around drives me up the wall. What does disrespecting mean exactly. I hate how he is justifying his !HUGE! mistakes stepping out on the marriage that are not comparable with what Amanda is doing (not even dating West - although I love Ciara!) I just feel that he gets away with a LOT in light of the scandal that honestly… yeah it’s being a terrible friend but comparing it to Scandoval?? Come on! Completely different levels. Am I alone?
