Disappointed with solar savings. did I have the wrong expectation after going solar?
I’m wondering if anyone else has felt this way.
I went solar expecting my electric bill to drop more than it has. I knew it wouldn’t disappear completely, but after hearing so many people talk about their savings, I thought the difference would be more noticeable.
The savings are there, but I’m not sure if what I’m seeing is normal or if I should be looking into something.
I know things like energy usage, weather, and rates can affect the results, but it’s hard to know if your system is actually performing the way it should.
For homeowners who have had solar for a while, did you feel disappointed at first? Did your savings improve over time or did you have to make changes? Just looking for real experiences.
