Need career advice as a fresher?

Hello guys,

I currently have an offer from HCL for an Automation Testing role with a package of ₹4.25 LPA and a 1-year bond.

I’m also interviewing with a mid-sized company for a Data Engineer role, but the salary hasn’t been disclosed yet. Their bond is 2 years, and I expect the package might be lower than HCL.

My background is B.Tech in AI & Data Science, and I’m interested in long-term career growth, salary progression, and future opportunities.

If you were in my position, would you choose:
Automation Tester at HCL (₹4.25 LPA, 1-year bond)
Data Engineer at a mid-sized company (possibly lower salary, 2-year bond)

Which path has better long-term prospects, and what would you do as a fresher in 2026?
