Superior rpg issues

I saw a vid of it and wanted to try it out but when I try to place blocks a white box appears and it says left click to cancel right click to place but nothing happens the block just disappears. really want to play this mod pack but can't even place a bed to sleep. is there a way to fix this or is the mod pack just messed up for now.
