Was I sexually assaulted? I feel like I wasn't but still feel violated

Was This Sexual Assault?

TW!!!: Talk about sa

So I'm a trans woman (18) and I went out with some friends to a queer club. In the club I met this guy and we kinda hit it off you know so we kiss and go outside for a smoke and kiss again, you know the deal (I also told him I was trans outside and it looked like he was okay with it. Eventually I kinda lost him in the club and after a while I saw him outside again. My friends went back inside cause I thought I could trust him and I followed him.

He immediately held me really tight when we we were walking and started asking really personal questions about my trans identity which made me feel very unsafe as a trans woman especially in the society we're in nowadays, mind you he was 24 and like way taller and stronger than me. Eventually I realize that we're walking towards a kinda deserted part of the street where the club is at so I asked him where we were going and he said an ally. I was so scared he was gonna rape me or something because I just didn't feel right or safe, but I just couldn't say no. In that alley he grabbed me really hard against him and started aggressively kissing me even though I didn't want it. But I didn't say no or trybto push him away. I thought if i would what he wanted me to do I would be safe. Eventually I guess he felt that I was very uncomfortable cause he stopped and he asked if I even wanted this. To which i said that I was gonna go look for my friends inside and he said 'I get that'. When i walked away he even said something like 'i schouldnt have brought you here'. After that I walked as fast as I could back to the club and I when I was waiting in the line to get back in he was standing beside me again and asked if I was okay to which I said yes eventhough I really wasn't.

And that is what makes me so conflicted in my emotions. Like I feel harassed and assaulted, I feel like he did something to me he shouldn't have, but what if he didn't mean it? What if he didn't do it with the intention of crossing a boundary, even though he did. I could've said no or at least done something
