Solo dev making a single-player MMO-inspired healer RPG where you play the party healer

Hello everyone!

I’m a solo developer working on a single-player, MMO-inspired RPG where the player takes on the role of the party healer.

Instead of being the main damage dealer, your job is to keep your party alive, manage cooldowns, react to enemy pressure, support companions, prepare before fights, and make smart decisions during combat. The goal is to capture the feeling of healing in an MMO dungeon or overworld group, but in a single-player game built around that experience.

The game currently includes overworld exploration, quests, caves, dungeon-style encounters, party management, gear, loot, professions/crafting, vendors, enemies, and multiple healer class identities. It is still very much in development, so feedback from real players would be extremely helpful.

I’m currently looking for playtesters and possibly content-minded people who enjoy:
- Healing/support roles in MMOs or RPGs
- Party-based combat
- Indie RPG prototypes
- Giving honest feedback on balance, UI, pacing, and fun factor
- Helping shape a game while it is still early

Access to the current build will not be automatic. A short conversation in Discord is required before being accepted as a tester. This is mainly to avoid trolls, bots, and people who are not actually interested in giving useful feedback. I’ll use that conversation to explain the current state of the game, what kind of feedback I’m looking for, and make sure it is a good fit.

Important note: this is currently unpaid. There will be no compensation unless the game eventually makes money, and there is a real chance that may never happen. I want to be completely upfront about that.

This is a passion project, and I’m trying to build something for players who love being the healer, not just tolerating it because the group needs one.
