I peaked Plat 1 in BO6 ranked, which was my first real year playing ranked. After that, I started playing with Crimsons and Iris all the time. I was getting fried, going double negative, and probably donating SR like it was a charity event, but I was learning a lot.

They taught me in ranked, private matches, VOD reviews, routes, spawns, the whole thing. I also watched CDL, ex-pros, streamers, coaching videos, and consumed so much ranked advice that I accidentally built an insanely detailed Discord server breaking down problems by rank and how to fix them.

While building that, I still played pubs against higher-ranked players, VOD reviewed multiple POVs, aim trained, learned routes/spawns, got a PC, cleaned up my inputs, optimized settings/graphics, and basically tried to remove every possible excuse.

This season I made a new account and waited for ranked. Placements went badly: two crashes, a couple Crimson lobbies, and I placed Gold 1.

Now I’m 80 games in and I’m Diamond 1. Most of my lobbies are Diamond/Crimson, rarely Gold/Plat.
With all the SR system discourse, I genuinely don’t know how to feel. Am I actually Diamond now, or did I accidentally get promoted by the ranked inflation economy? Be brutally honest.
