AOD notifications

I am a new OnePlus 15 user, coming from a Samsung Galaxy S24. So far, I am completely satisfied with everything, and I find the operating system just as good as One UI 8.5.

However, what I don't like is the way notifications are displayed on the Always-On Display (AOD). I would prefer them to appear like they do on One UI—discreetly at the top of the screen rather than in the middle.

Also, I can't seem to disable the blue edge lighting. As soon as I turn it off, new notifications on the AOD screen are disabled as well.

I would like to be able to disable the blue edge lighting while still keeping notification icons visible on the AOD.

Is there any way to fix this?
