MIAD01 Bug: Headphone icon stuck in status bar, no media audio from speaker (even after reboot)
Hey guys, wondering if anyone else has run into this issue with the Moondrop MIAD01, or if my unit is just defective.
[The Problem]
Even when no headphones are plugged in (neither 3.5mm nor 4.4mm), the headphone icon remains permanently stuck in the status bar next to the battery indicator. As a result, Android thinks headphones are connected, and no media audio (YouTube, Spotify, etc.) plays out of the phone's speakers.
[What I've tested so far]
Rebooting: Did not fix it. The headphone icon is still there right after boot.
Audio routing check: If I call the speaking clock (or any phone call) and force it to "Speakerphone," the speaker works fine. So the physical speaker itself isn't dead.
Audio Switch Apps: Third-party audio switcher apps don't even detect a headphone being plugged in, which contradicts the Android system UI status bar.
Cleaning/Reseating: Cleaned the jacks and plugged/unplugged headphones multiple times. Nothing changed.
App Reset: Cleared cache and storage for Moondrop's "Audio Console" app and reset app preferences. No luck.
It seems like the system's audio routing layer or the Moondrop Audio Console app is completely hard-locked into "Headphone Mode" and refusing to reset.
Has anyone else experienced this audio routing bug on the MIAD01? If you managed to fix it without a full factory reset, please let me know!
