Why does KUL not allowed a "bridging" program from eng tech -> eng like UGent does?
The title mostly sums up the question. UGent allows all graduates of a masters engineering tech to flow directly into the associated engineering degree using a bridging program. This program is essentially a normal engineering masters program, with most of the elective courses waived and replaced with the usually more theoretical bachelor courses they would otherwise have missed.
The question is then simple, why does UG allow for such a thing but not KUL? As far as the "theoretical" nature of the courses in engineering is concerned, UG seems to be about on par with KUL. And as far as the "practical" nature of eng tech seems to be similar as well.
