Should I add these mods?

I’ve played through the game a ton and have a ton of hours and it’s gonna be my buddy’s first playthrough. I’m thinking of adding the paleo Rex mod to spice it up/ make it so every important tame isn’t a knockout and am curious what yall think? Also maybe thinking of wak spino (small) to see if I can replace normal spinos for further down the line
