Nidra band placement?

I have the Nidra bands and really like them. However, I had to take a break from them because of a skin thing and I’m not sure my resumed placement is as effective. This time the rep said to keep the white mark on the band at the height of the head of the fibula but a centimeter or so lateral to it. I can’t remember how the tech initially told me to place it, something about the intersection of a vertical line and a horizontal line? Plus sometimes people have found or been taught more useful ways. So I’m hoping Nidra users can weigh in with their placement (I know one of you got a mark tattooed!) so I can see if a better one can be found. Thanks!
