Incomings

Lewis Dobbin, several sources have confirmed boro are very close to his signature. The lad can play LW which we’ll need til conway is back, or he can play AM. Class season onloan with Preston from Villa and likely he might form part of the Morgan Rogers deal, or not. He won’t be cheap and will likely cost in the region of £7-10m plus likely to have a sell on fee.

Sebastien Berhalter & Max Arfsten, NYtimes/Athletic has linked the duo with links to an unnamed efl championship club, with Berhalter available for a pre contract agreement on July 1st.
Berhalter came through the youth ranks with Aiden Morris and are friends, Morris played at Columbus Crew with Arfsten.

The club are looking for a hatfull of attackers, a GK, a LWB and central midfielders according to sources close to the club. To me that says they arent looking for a CB so dael’s signing on for another contract.

Other developments

Djed spence played for England at the world cup and is expected to result in a £1-2m fee paid from spurs to Boro as part of his transfer agreement.

Morgan Rogers, Villa are not willing to sell him this window “officially” ie they want their valuation met which appears to be in the £85m mark and Arsenal seem keen to meet this valuation. The result of which will result in a 20% profit/sell on fee going to boro in the £12-17m mark depending on the terms.
