Americans, what do you wish you’d brought with you?

American couple with a baby planning a move to Abu Dhabi by the end of 2026. Our relocation will be paid for, but we will be downsizing from two furnished properties and need to decide what to bring and what to sell.

Happy to hear from anyone that’s made the move internationally, but Americans especially - what do you wish you’d brought with you!? Homewares, furniture and decor wise? What about consumables you wish you’d stocked up on? If you have young kids, anything else we should plan to bring along rather than buy locally?

Really appreciate any advice!
