Barry Dort/Abigail Craven and Isaac Night/Debbie Jellinsky + Similar antagonists/villains.

Barry Dort reminds me a lot of “The Addams Family (1981)” villain Abigail Craven “Dr. Greta Pinder-Schloss” and I won’t be surprised if he was model after her. Both are greedy con artists who go after the family’s wealth.

On the surface, Isaac Night and Debbie Jellinsky, from “The Addams Family Values” couldn’t be any more different, Isaac is a mad genius reanimated zombie teen while Debbie is just a serial killer. However, both served as the theatrical and fun villains.

I will admit, I didn’t like Isaac when he was introduced. First, he was a zombie, now he is Tyler’s zombie uncle and then he is Thing. I was overwhelmed but after rewatching season two, I actually really like him and hope he is mentioned in season three. He was interesting, threatening and entertaining. (Owen Painter did such a great job and Tim Burton, you better make a movie with him in.)

And there is Debbie, she is such an amazing over the top campy villain**,** fashionable, and just as unhinged and dark as the Addams Family is which is why everyone says she will fit right in with the Family.

(I think the same can be said about Isaac as well because Thing is technically still Isaac.)

Barry and Issac are only the two antagonists/villains that are memorable in the series so far and hopefully it gets better in season three.
