How is using the Steam Deck docked to a TV as the primary gaming "PC"?

I have three gaming devices. A Nintendo Switch Lite, a Steam Deck, and a gaming PC that is around five years old connected to my TV.

Ever since getting my Steam Deck, it's been my main device. I don't think I've touched my PC in months because I'm always gaming on my Deck. So I was toying with the idea of getting the official dock, selling my PC, and just using the Deck as my main gaming "PC" connected to the TV.

If anyone has done this, how has the experience been? I realize it's not going to be anywhere near as powerful as a regular PC.
