Punta Cana resorts to pick, what's the difference?

I am torn between a few resorts, I've only been to all Rius in Cancun and PC, I am looking for an upgrade resort in service, food and drinks, and cleanliness, but also not too boring. This is just for me and my wife so couples' resorts will work well too. These resorts all seem to be rated highly, so please share your personal thoughts and experience on the differences!
