Why does Arthur’s partner say this from 24:33-24:39 of “Denial, Anger, Acceptance” (S1E3)?
At this point in the episode, Arthur and his partner are arguing about Arthur’s willingness to accept money from Tony. He (Tony) is to front Arthur some money for a new place at which Arthur will be a chef. Arthur hopes that his partner won’t mind, but she objects on the grounds that she is giving Carmela her support and for a very reputable cause.
Why does her support for Carmela make accepting money for a new cooking place different from accepting money for the cooking itself?
