Is it ok to be constantly turned on?

I am 46m and my bedroom has been dead for 15 years. Due to her medical problems bedroom died completely. My question is: Is it ok to constantly be turned on? At this point I am her caregiver more than anything. I am just curious because I honestly wake up some days so turned on that I am angry. I don't try to take my frustration out on her but I am still very grumpy on those days. I have tried to talk to her about it and her response was that it is not her fault so just deal with it. I am just beyond frustrated.
