Convince me: why should I or should I not become a nurse?

Nursing would be my Second career. Work corporate and hate the bullshit office politics, low pay, in office 5 days a week with only two off, temp contracts dangled in my face, feel like I’m wasting my life, etc.

I have a deep passion for healthcare always have. I have a masters in health science but jobs in my field are limited in my area hence the bullshit corporate job.

There is lots of jobs for nurses in my area and it’s peaked my interested. I hear a lot of mixed reviews so I wanted to get it straight from the source.

So convince me: why or why not become a nurse?
