I’ve been building Clutch Intelligence, a voice assistant for PC gamers.

The original idea was straightforward: let players get help, manage simple tasks, and stay focused without tabbing out of the game.

What I didn’t expect is that the hardest part hasn’t been the tech. It’s been the positioning.

The second gamers think a product sounds like it is playing for them, giving an unfair advantage, or breaking immersion, trust drops fast.

That forced me to rethink the product around a much simpler idea:

Your voice. Your coach.

The goal is not to replace skill. It’s to make getting help feel natural while you play.

I attached an older gameplay clip of Clutch in action. It’s an earlier version, and it’s quite a bit faster and smarter now, but it still shows the core idea pretty well.

I’m also getting ready to release Real-Time for Overwatch in less than a week, which has made this positioning question even more important.

For anyone else building products near a trust boundary, especially in gaming or AI, I’d genuinely love your take:

How would you position something like this so it feels helpful, fair, and not gimmicky?

Happy to share the link if anyone wants to try it.
