Patch pump (with G7)?

I‘ve rejected pumps for the last 10 years due to my lifestyle not being suitable for tubes sticking out (tubes are still not a viable option) and so I haven’t really informed myself about any pump over the last 10 years.
A few months ago I stumbled over patch pumps and have slowly started to consider them an option for me. However, the information I found online didn’t really include anything other than technical details so I‘d like to get some insights from you.
I wear the Dexcom G7 and would consider a closed loop system with a patch pumps unless you guys tell me that that’s a dumb idea.

What are your experiences with patch pumps, what are the problems I‘ll run into and what should I know before getting a pump or know about having a pump? No worries, I got an appointment with my endo next week but I‘d like to get a solid idea before making any decisions.
Also, what patch pumps work well with the G7 and which ones don’t?
