How much do guys care about someone's skill level when receiving a blow job?

Obviously, nobody wants teeth, so we can skip all those answers. I mean in terms of experience and how efficient they are. Do some guys need an expert to enjoy it at all, or can it still be fun with someone who has had less practice? I'll be honest, I never got very good at it. I was always willing to do it for as long as it takes to finish though. I remember one guy in particular seemed to be offended that I wasn't sucking his dick good enough.
