A little disappointed with Amanda

I want to preface this with saying that Amanda is one of my favorite of the cast because she does have a habit of challenging people and she says what’s on top of her head.

However, in the most recent episode of Smosh reads Reddit stories the second story had a woman getting so into Roblox that she forgot to pick up her child from basketball practice for an hour and didn’t realize that had happened until her husband came home from work and asked, “where is our son?”.

At first everyone was like yeah that’s screwed up, but then Amanda comes in like “maybe she’s going through something. The husband needs therapy too.”

I’m sorry what? no amount of personal problems justifies forgetting someone for an hour who has absolutely no choice but to trust you. The worst part was the mother was unreachable. Their child’s coach was trying to contact her and she just wouldn’t pick up.

As someone whose mother has forgotten to pick them up one time, I know that kid is never going to forget that feeling, but Amanda was so worried about what the mom was feeling that she just glossed over it.

I love the content that Amanda produces, but that was just ridiculous and Shayne and Trevor just sat there and also came up with excuses for child negligence, it was kind of embarrassing to watch.
