The earthquakes in Venezuela got me thinking

The earthquakes in Venezuela got me thinking.. a supposed paradise on Earth doesn't seem possible as long as tectonic plates exist, because earthquakes are a natural consequence of how the planet works.

And if someone argues that the Earth's interior will eventually cool and plate tectonics will stop, that creates other problems. The magnetic field could disappear, the atmosphere could be lost over time, and long before that the Sun will have expanded and heated Earth to the point of being uninhabitable.

It makes me wonder whether these predictions are really the words of a metaphysical entity, or simply the ideas of men with a limited understanding of geology, planetary science, and how the universe actually works.
