Monogamy turns men into simps by design. A king isn't gonna crash out and risk his life if one of his wives cheated.

We all know men out there who will literally die for their wife/gf or even commit suicide if they ever cheat or leave them. Meanwhile, a man with multiple wives would either not care or be bothered as much if one or a few were all cheating. And if he did, he'd get men to find the culprit and have him executed. He wouldn't be ready to die cuz one of his many women aren't falling in line.

So the point is, making a woman the center of your world or heart or whatever, is actually the worst thing a man can do. Hence, why it's almost forced and expected upon us as we get older. Think of all the fools in the past who died over women. Do they not look silly AF in hindsight? Monogamy is the humiliation ritual.
