Looking for a comic where the protagonist is kept as a pet

Hi, looking for a comic with this premise:

humans are nearly extinct. Scary looking humanoids that have taken over earth. The protagonist is a male who is being kept as pet by one of the creatures and gets to meet a female human during a medical check up. She reveals that a human resistance has formed and they engineered a virus to kill the humanoids. She gets killed and he infects himself with the virus, walking around and spreading it.

The creatures are very big, twice maybe even trice the size of a man and have scary grimaces. Their culture is a 1:1 copy from us humans with old "people", jobs etc.

Someone please help me find the name of this comic again, thx
