Dentist pulled my tooth after saying he would just fill the cavity
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but about 3 weeks ago i went to the dentist for a toothache, turned out i have a cavity. The dentist tells me he can fix it up, but that it would take a while and we have to make another appointment. Fast forward to today, he immediately sits me down, hardly looks at the tooth, starts giving me anesthesia and in the meantime tells me he's gonna have to pull the tooth. This caught me super off guard, it's the very first molar on the top row, right side. I'm only 20 years old and it got me a little emotional that i had to get a somewhat obvious tooth pulled all of a sudden! And then without any barrier to keep pieces from falling into my mouth he starts breaking and pulling the tooth, nothing to suck up the blood either, so my mouth is just filling up with blood. The tooth didn't want to come out at all either, so he got some kinda tool to push the gums upward and this was so painful i started full sobbing. The dentist just kept telling me to stop and be calm. After he put the stitches he didn't give me any gauze or anything to stop the bleeding with. This whole experience was so horrible.. I've had a few not so great dentist experiences but this one definitely takes the cake.
